A Bit About Me
Mia works with children, adolescents, and adults, employing a range of therapeutic modalities, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to guide her clients through life's challenges. She is dedicated to fostering authenticity, self-compassion, and self-advocacy in her clients. She has extensive experience working with children and adolescents, helping them to develop a sense of positive self-esteem, learn healthy communication skills, and explore/discover their personal identity.
By integrating principles of Nonviolent Communication (NVC), Mia empowers individuals to recognize and express their feelings and needs without shame, judgment, or criticism, helping them identify their core values and pursue a more fulfilling and joyful life.
